The Phoenix New Times took a poll for their Best of 2015 Issue and we were voted "Best Use of Crowdfunding for the Arts".
Anatomy of a Hug's first review comes from Jennifer Haaland at examiner.com: "Having seen the tight knit ensemble of four just hours ago, the blaring neon message is, 'Go!'" And Herb Paine at BroadwayWorld.com says: "This is powerful theatre, well-played, and deserving of broader attention. Three cheers for The Bridge Initiative's commitment promote the works of women artists."
Frontdoor News ran a story about our casting for Anatomy of a Hug.
PhxStages has been a Bridge media advocate from day one, helping with our casting notices and events as well as other stories:
Our playwright/director awards are featured in an article on examiner.com and the same story was published by American Theatre. Our overall progress from birth to the present is discussed with Arizona Commission on the Arts in this piece.
The Bridge Initiative co-founders Tracy Liz Miller and Brenda Jean Foley were featured in an
interview for American Theatre's podcast.
We were also part of a conversation with Phoenix New Times reporter Robrt Pela about the lack of female writing voices to be represented on our stages in 2015-2016
